Yang Peng
Programme Manager
Yang Peng oversees Lien Aid's programmes in China. He has a strong background in environmental research and development, having previously worked in the Institute of Environmental Science and Engineering (IESE), a centre for environmental research excellence. His diverse portfolio with IESE included consultancy, business development and project management. A Sichuan native, he has extensive experience working with the Chinese governments, businesses and other organisations.

Zhao Bing
Project Manager
Zhao Bing is a Sichuan native and is now based in Yunnan, where he manages the implementation of Lien Aid's China projects. His background is in industrial and civil infrastructure development. He is an active volunteer in the humanitarian field and has worked with many international NGOs since 2004.

Dr Boubacar Diarra
Consultant(part-time)
A native of Mali, Dr Boubacar Diarra has extensive experience living and working in China. He currently holds a Master and a Doctor of Medicine in Integrated Chinese Western Medicine from Hospital of Guangzhou Medical Institute and Hospital of Chengdu Medical Institute respectively. His illustrious medical career includes having been Chief of Department of Integrated Western and Chinese Medicine of Hengbo Hospital, Chengdu and a medical advisor in Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). A keen humanitarian, Dr. Diarra is experienced in providing emergency medical care in crisis situations, and has been actively involved in natural disaster relief operations (e.g. Sichuan Wenchuan earthquake relief, 2008). Since March 2001, he has been working with China Primary Health Care Foundation as a Project Director in Honghe, Yunnan. Dr Diarra joins Lien Aid in the capacity of consultant.
